]]>Final Equipment Fittinghttp://www.peninsulayouthfootball.com/home/2008/7/22/final-equipment-fitting.html[PYF2008-07-22T20:29:36ZYour last chance to get your equipment issued & fitted before the start of practice will be August 7th from 5:30p -7p at the PYF locker located at Harbor Storage, 2004 34th Street NW.

If a player is unable to make it on the 7th , they will still be able to get equipment but probably not until the second week of practice. Please notify your son's coach as soon as possible if you are not going to be able to make this final fitting.

Here are some things to remember:

Parents bring your patience. It takes time to fit players properly. We don't want to rush and compromise the safety the player.

No baseball hats.

Players should wear some type of shorts, preferably one of the following: compression shorts, girdle, sliding shorts, or cycling shorts - so that can make sure players get the correct sized pants.

Pants cannot be fit properly if the player is wearing baggy shorts, and we don't want to be making pant size corrections 1-2 weeks into the season. Remember, football pants are made to be tight .

Wash the uniform properly. Many of the jerseys are new and the dye has not set. Proper wash and care instructions can be found on the Equipment page.
